IMechE Design Challenge 2017 – UAE
IMechE students Chapter, University of Bolton joined hands with IMechE Young Member Committee of United Arab Emirates, to conduct the first ever Design challenge for UAE region on the 27th of April 2017 at University of Bolton, Academic Centre, Ras Al Khaimah.
The challenge was to built, test and run a “REPEATABLE Vehicle”.
The University of Bolton emerged victorious with their fan powered vehicle after six rounds of head to head heats, winning the ever rolling trophy for the year 2017.
While team AMITY 420 representing Amity University, Dubai received special mention from the jury for their innovative design.
