BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Advances in electrical and electronics engineering underpin the digital revolution that started in the 1950s and continues to the present day. Our BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Dubai campus is designed to prepare you for a career in this world-changing industry. We want to help you gain the essential knowledge and skills needed to understand, use, enhance and design electrical- and electronics-based technology.
We offer ‘real world’ engineering knowledge and skills developed through a combination of theory and practical applications taught in a vibrant and supportive environment. This includes our range of highly specialised modules covering areas such as electromagnetism, embedded systems, digital signal processing, power electronics and renewable energy systems. Your professional development and training is encouraged through hands-on projects, live briefs and industrial visits.

Duration: 3 Years, 6 semesters

Start Dates: January, June, September

Mode of Study: Full Time

Entry Requirements for BEng (Hons) Electrical and Electronics engineering:

For Science programmes an aggregate of 65% and above is mandatory. A final offer will be given after review of all your original transcripts & 12th grade
result.
If English isn’t your first language you’ll also need IELTS 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in any band (or equivalent).
If you don’t meet the entry requirements for this course please consider our foundation year course.

BTEC HND qualifications are widely welcomed by employer and recognised by international professional bodies and BTEC Higher Nationals are internationally recognised Higher Education qualifications at level 4 and 5 that are equivalent to the first and second years of a university degree.

Our tutors are all qualified accountants with experience of working in the profession and of teaching undergraduate, postgraduate and professional accountancy qualifications.

We’ll encourage you to use mathematical and statistical techniques to solve general business and accountancy related problems – learning from case studies will give you a good grounding in real business situations.

We use small group and tutorial teaching so that you have the opportunity to benefit from the excellent support offered by our teaching staff.

As a graduate of this BEng degree from Dubai, you’ll have the knowledge and skills needed to define your own pathway to a rewarding career in electronics engineering and be qualified to pursue exciting opportunities in research and development if you wish.
