UAE Hackathon

Computing, Psychology and Mechanical students participated in The UAE Hackathon which reflects the efforts of UAE Telecommunications Regulatory Authority (TRA) to disseminate the culture of digital transformation in the country.
On the Theme, Data for Happiness and Well-being, three teams from University of Bolton, Academic Centre RAK took part, which was held at American University of Ras Al Khaimah between 17-19 February 2019.
Team Curiosity, Team Takhleeeqi and Team MAS Crew, worked on the topics Education, Transport and Health, have competed with 32 UAE teams.
Team Curiosity is selected for Final round for demonstrating a prototype of an application which adopts the concept of “Gamification in Education” by integrating all the subjects in primary and middle school level. It is to be held in first week March in Dubai.
